Indian Aztec Healing Clay Review

Image
Indian Aztec Healing Clay The Indian Healing Clay claims to be the 'worlds most powerful facial' deep pore cleansing mask...hmm well I can tell you it is exactly that! This little pot of mud works wonders on my skin.  I have been using this for a few months now, once a week or whenever I get bad breakouts and it really does clear out all the pollution, dirt and pore clogging particles out of my skin. I've used clay masks before from Boots and some from the indian stores however this is the strongest most effective clay mask I've come across.   How I use it: There is only one ingredient in this mask which is 100% natural calcium bentonite (green) clay. I use it with apple cider vinegar and mix it until it becomes a consistency of a mousse. You can use it with water but I found the consistency hard to use as it goes lumpy, with the apple cider vinegar it turns into a smooth paste. It does smell stronger with the ACV but its worth bearing for 20 mins! ...

Barry M Lip Paint in 54 & 147 Review

Barry M Lip Paint - 54 & 147  I absolutely love these two shades (swatches below). They are my everyday lippies. I really got into coral and nude colours and if you have a tanned complexion or are asian, latino, middle eastern, golden or olive toned, these are the perfect coral/nude shades.  Shade 54: The 54 is a very vibrant bright coral orange-peachy warm toned shade. If your an NC35-40 skintone like me this will look lovely and exotic on you. It brightens up golden/bronze tanned complexions. If your more cool toned or have a fair complexion this might look very bright and too orange. If your looking for an electric bright orange look then this is it, but it probably wouldn't look like a natural shade, more of a bold shade if your fair. Shade 147: The 147 is a soft nude peachy-pink. I think the 147 would suit all fair to medium dark skin tones and look very natural. It is not too pale for tanned complexions as some nude pink shades tend to get too light and can l...

Alima Satin Matte Mineral Foundation Review

Image
Alima Satin Matte Mineral Foundation I was looking for a natural mineral foundation for a while. I tried Bare Minerals in the past which didn't really do anything for my skin, it was drying and my skin just didn't look glowy.   I came across Alima which is an american based brand and was wowed by there 61 foundation shades.  I did the foundation selector colour guide which was really simple and easy to follow and for my asian NC35 - 40 asian skin tone, it matched me to a 'WARM 4', 'GOLDEN 4', and 'BEIGE 4'. Sample sizes: I ordered the sample sizes which came in small cute pots with a generous amount of foundation that was enough for a few days of wear, it's better then other brands that just give you a small satchet which can be very messy and hardly any foundation to work from. They also gave me four eyeshadows shades to try which was nice of them. Shade: I have yellow (golden) asian undertones to my skin and match to a MAC NC35. I found ...
