It's Pure Organics Herbal Hair Colour Dark Brown | Review

Natural Hair Dye by It's Pure Organics in Dark Brown Review All I can say is wish I knew about this dye sooner!    My hair history this past year...I've gone through pregnancy hair loss and dryness, not to mention having a no dye period when I was pregnant. This is why I went crazy with the dyes once my LO was born! I ombre'd my hair which meant my ends were bleached twice, coloured and used toners many times to keep ends dark blonde and ashy. Then semi colours on the roots/mid length to keep my hair and a few greys dark and glossy. So all this basically meant my hairs been in a really dry, brittle and frizzy state. It's ruined my natural waves all because of wanted an ombre. Something I'll never do again as its hard maintain when you naturally have dark hair that has a tendency to go orange tinged. I've had regular trims which have helped but after a while hair starts too look rough, lacking lustre and no shine. I think this is partially due to a bad

My Top 3 Favourite Natural Mineral Foundations | Review

I've tried and tested so many mineral foundations I thought I should just dedicate a quick overview of my favourite ones. Firstly how I use them: How you apply/use your foundations will work differently for everyone. I've tried using a mineral foundation on top of just a moisturiser and no matter what brand I have used I just don't have that natural but flawless coverage. It looks perfect when you first apply it in the morning by midday some brands start to disappear or cake up in my fine lines around my cheeks and nose or I look like quite oily as it just melts OR I just look like I have nothing on! The best way to get out of my Mineral Loose or Pressed Foundation is by using a natural tinted moisturiser, BB cream or a Natural/Organic Liquid Foundation first as a base, so you have some light coverage to start with. What works for me is the Inika Liquid Foundation with a mineral foundation on top. Inika gives me a sheer to light coverage, medium if you build

PHB Balancing Shampoo & Conditioner | Review

PHB Balancing Shampoo & Conditioner - Lavender and Mint Review Slowly moving away from chemical based products but I've been trying a few natural shampoo and conditioners for dry, coloured and wavy hair and they have been too thick with moisturising ingredients that have weighed down my hair.  I came across this brand when I purchased their foundation, and saw that they do a haircare range too. I decided to pick the balancing range as its suitable for everyday use (not that I wash my hair daily!) and that its also anti dandruff. I don't get dandruff but in the winter months my head feels extra dry and itchy sometimes so I felt this would be gentle enough to use and is also fine to use on coloured hair.  With all natural shampoos you are lucky to get a decent lather first time round, with natural shampoos though I do like to wash my hair twice with it and in the second shampoo you get a good lather. This stuff smells so amazing, refreshing and invigorating you f

Art Naturals Organic Argan Oil Hair Loss Shampoo | Review

I finished the whole £24 bottle! I don't know why or if you would agree but I can't justify spending that much on a bottle of shampoo, natural or not!.. Especially if you have to keep buying it again and again. However when they say it lasts 3 months worth then I did the math and thought ok then it's worth it I suppose.  In fact it lasted me 4 months should I say so well worth it. I'm writing this review quite a while after I've used this and thinking why did I just not buy this again?! At the moment I'm getting through my PHB S & C which I'm trying to finish although I don't feel it suited my hair type; however once that is finished I will probably get this Argan Shampoo again along with the conditioner or try their different range. This shampoo is perfect for thick, dry wavy or damaged coloured hair. I know its for hair loss which I originally bought it for due to alot of hair fall in my pregnancy and post pregnancy. I feel that

Dr. Organic Manuka Honey Face Mask | Review

Image
I haven't tried any of Dr organic's product so this is my first purchase. I always browse through their section in Holland and Barretts but never pick up anything! Don't know why?! So anyways I saw that this had pretty positive reviews on their website so I decided to pick it up. As it is a honey face mask I didn't expect it to detox or clarify my face or anything. I did hope it would nourish and moisturise my face abit, so I bought it for those reasons. My husband and I both tried this and found it really helped give the appearance of smoother and brightened skin. My face feels supple and moisturised and appears alot fresher once I washed it off. The directions say to leave it on for 10 minutes. I leave it on until it's dry so that's about right. For a quick and easy applying face mask this does make your skin feel and lool better in a small amount of time! I think it's good to use on tired skin or before going out just to brighten the
