Nudestix Magnetic Lip Plush Paint in Waikiki Rose Review Nudestix Magnetic Plush Paint in Waikiki Rose (Nudestix 100% Vegan and Cruelty Free)  So...it's been a while. Kind of neglected this blog as life just got busy and I'm a mum of 2 now!  I'm back though as writing blogs is what I enjoy, and that's why I created this blog in the first place, so here I am :) Lets get into my first review of the year. My husband surprised me the nude plus paint from Nudestix as I kind of posted on Instagram that they looked good. I'm a busy mama and pretty much on the go most of the time so my makeup ( and hair) looks need to be pretty quick and easy, not as polished as I used to be but as long as I look put together to face the day thats all I need. The reason this product in particular caught my eye is because its monocromatic meaning it can be used on the eyes, cheeks and lips to create that monocromatic same all shade l

Naturtint Permanent Hair Dye in 6N Dark Blonde and 7N Hazelnut Blonde| Review

Image
So over the past year I have tried a few different hair dyes, toners mainly from drugstores like Boots or Superdrugs and I always seem to come back to the Naturtint range. I find the coverage and the shade very much close to whats on the box, my hair NEVER ends up going jet black which it has done from other dye brands. I especially like the 'Natural/Neutral' range in Naturtint, its not too warm or too cool, just a very natural mid brown toned shade and I love it. I usually swap between 5N and 6N depending if i wanted to go abit darker or lighter. Over the summer I decided to mix 6N and 7N to see if I could go abit more lighter so I mixed both shades together. I have asian dark brown practically looking black hair and when I use the shade 5N I get a nice medium to dark brown shade to my hair.  When I want to get a more light medium brown shade thats more prominant and noticable then I usually go for 6N which I'd say is the perfect

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipgloss | Review and Swatch

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipgloss in Caramel 100% Cruelty Free and Vegan So during the Black Friday sale in 2019 I ordered the shade Caramel which is described as a warm pinky brown shade. Lots of Instagrammers rave about this so as I don't own alot of lipglosses I thought to give this a try.  Shade The shade is beautiful, its got the right warmth, the right, tone and depth. It's such a flattering colour I think for light skintones and dark skintones. It's a very medium to medium dark toned shade so it would be flattering on anyone and not come off too light or pasty on anyone. I think it's a beautiful natural looking shade for asian/tanned golden skintones and thats why I purchased this. It's correct when it says its a pinky brown, I think the added brown tone to it just makes it a more muted pink and natural looking on th lips. Consistency/Pigment It claims it's lightweight, however I do find it is on the thicker sid

Beauty Kitchen - Abyssinian Oil Night Halo Potent Sleep Mask | Review

Image
Wow what a long name for a product, but its so true to the name! This mask feels so thick and luxurious, its perfect for those with dry, tired looking skin that needs a pick me up. I've been using it for the colder months as its winter now in the UK and its perfect to put on in the evening before bed. I usually put this one an hour before bed so it sinks into the skin rather than getting residue on my pillow as it does feel quite heavy and balmy. The texture feels like a balm, thick in the pot but feels like an oil once its on the skin. it smells so lovely and herbally, can't put my finger on what it is but it smells so nice, perfect scent for relaxation and winding down for the evening. Its like luxury in a pot and makes me happy using it, I'm sure then scent of it makes me sleep better, along with their body lotion which I also love. My final thoughts I love this sleep mask, it defiantly is potent and perfect for winter, it's literally a hydrating

Naturtint Permanent Hair Dye Colour in Teide Brown 6.0 | Review

So I like to switch up my hair colours abit, and hadn't dyed my hair for about 5/6 months. I picked up 6.0 in Teide Brown from Holland and Barretts instead of my usual 5N Chestnut Brown or 6N Dark Blonde. The colour did work well on my hair, I got a lighter side of medium warm brown hair colour. The only think is I don't like warmer shades of brown in my hair as they tend to pick up red/orange or ginger tones in my hair which you can see more in sunlight. So if you are looking for a warm brown then this is a nice shade, but after experimenting with a few colours I noticed warm browns don't suit my complexion, as I'm already warm skintoned, and I feel it makes my skin look more on the orange side. I know they say cooler tones suit cooler complexions but I know by experimenting over the years cooler tones actually freshen up my complexion and complement golden skintones really nicely. Sometimes the opposite works much better! My Final Thought These shades do work a

Current Skincare Routine | Review

Bravura - Purifying Calendula Toner This toner has been amazing. Usually toners don't tend to do much but are still part of a cleansing routine, however I noticed a big difference whilst using this toner. I was suffering from very dehydrating, dry congested skin, and this product changed the texture of my skin completely. I use it daily in the AM and PM, the ingredients have helped make my skin feel hydrated, supple and plump, so I'm very impressed with this. Overtime it gave me a glow and I think his is due to its exfoliating properties such as the Glycolic Acid. I think this is a great place to start on acids, as its a gentle toner and wouldn't strip the skin or aggravate sensitive skin.  Millionaire Peptide Pro - Gentle Exfoliating Gel Hydrating Skin Serum This is an instagram famous brand that has been quite hyped up since their Millionaire Hair Mist came out. I purchased this as I prefer using natural ingredients in my skincare and try to avoid bad in

September Empties | Review

Balm Balm - Little Miracle Rosehip Serum  I think this is the third bottle I've purchased, so I obviously love it lol. I think for the price its a great product and works so well for my skin. I use it in the evening as part of my skincare routine before bed and wake up with lovely, young, smooth poreless looking skin. One thing I would mention is that this is not just Rosehip oil alone, it has a mixture of different oils which I think is a bonus as they work well together and the product smells amazing! I have a full review on my blog.  Evolve Organic Beauty - Nourishing Hair Elixir I really enjoyed using this, hair felt softer and smoother, I used a few drops on my wet hair and some on my ends when my hair was dried. I can't say anything bad about this product, its natural and contains argan oil which is great for hair. I love trying new products so not sure if I would buy this product again anytime soon, although I would recommend it as its a great no

Mario Badescu Brightening Kit & Facial Spray | Review

Image
I've heard good things about Mario Badescu's skincare range and I thought the best way to try their products out was to buy a skincare regime kit where I can try a few products at the same time. In this kit you get to 'CLEANSE, TONE, BRIGHTEN AND PERFECT' as it says on the box. Step 1: Glyconic Foaming Cleanser I love this product and its one I'd probably buy in full size. It's gentle yet does an amazing deep clean on the face. my skin feels refreshed, soft smooth and plump. I use this product 2/3 times a week. I should say that when the box came I thought the size of the products looked really small, but you really do not need to use alot of product and it does last a while.  Step 2 : Alpha Grapefruit Cleansing Lotion  I think this pairs really well with the cleanser and I use this in my evening regime. I would say I prefer the Liz Earle toner as that has witch hazel in it and I feel it helps keeps acne at bay better. Step 3: Vitamin C Seru
