Beauty Kitchen - Abyssinian Oil Night Halo Potent Sleep Mask | Review
Wow what a long name for a product, but its so true to the name! This mask feels so thick and luxurious, its perfect for those with dry, tired looking skin that needs a pick me up. I've been using it for the colder months as its winter now in the UK and its perfect to put on in the evening before bed. I usually put this one an hour before bed so it sinks into the skin rather than getting residue on my pillow as it does feel quite heavy and balmy.
The texture feels like a balm, thick in the pot but feels like an oil once its on the skin. it smells so lovely and herbally, can't put my finger on what it is but it smells so nice, perfect scent for relaxation and winding down for the evening. Its like luxury in a pot and makes me happy using it, I'm sure then scent of it makes me sleep better, along with their body lotion which I also love.
My final thoughts
I love this sleep mask, it defiantly is potent and perfect for winter, it's literally a hydrating drink for your skin. I wake up with plump, soft and smooth skin. I don't suffer from any dry skin, and when I do get dry skin around my mouth or cheeks I always use this and it works to nourish the skin overnight. It hasn't broken me out, and due to its natural ingredients I think it would work well with sensitive skin, alittle goes along way, so you can put as little or as much as you need. I dont think you need to drench your face in this as some of it absorbs into the skin, but you also get a layer of the oil on your skin so no need to over grease yourself!
I will definitely repurchase but I have so much still to use in my pot, its worth looking at their other products and picking this up at Hollands and Barretts when they have their offers on. The brand seems to have alot of original named products and they smell amazing - it just makes you feel better.
