Akamuti Authentic African Black Soap Review

Akamuti Authentic African Black Soap

This bar of soap is totally natural, organic and leaves my skin amazingly smooth.  On the packaging it says you can use it for the body, but I also like to use it for the face as its very gentle. Even though most natural products don't tend to lather well, this soap foams really well making it easy to wash makeup and oily skin too.

As the bar is quite chunky, I cut off a small block and use that until it finishes, this way the soap lasts longer. The only thing  is it softens quickly under water so it's best to lather it in the hand before you use it, and put the block somewhere to dry.

This bar is really gentle and cleans my skin leaving it smooth and fresh, if you have sensitive skin, this would be perfect for you. As it has Shea Butter in it, it doesn't strip my skin, or make it feel tight, only a few times I have found it abit drying, however I usually spritz a toner or moisturiser after cleansing.

I think if you keep using this long term you will really see the benefits, I have been using this for a few months and my skin appears brighter, clearer and in better condition compared to using fully chemical contained products.  I have found my forehead and cheeks especially look smoother, acne appears to have reduced and pores appear less visible.

My final thought:
I Will continue to use this and I think it’s a must have for the bathroom! I have not tried any other Black African Soaps brands, this being the first one, and I'm really pleased with it. If you want something natural, pure, and gentle then this is worth trying and it doesn't even cost a bomb.

I love the simple ethnic style of the packaging and I will probably try some of there other products out as they look interesting not to mention natural!
