Topshop Sheer Lips Review

Topshop Sheer Lips in Nuclear & Red Alert

Topshop's new lip range! I bought two colours which I thought would compliment my skintone in Nuclear and Red Alert. They had a light nude sort of colour which wouldn't suit my complexion as I have dark pigmented lips, it would look too sheer and I think they had a deep plumy shade too.

How they look/feel:
They come on sheer with the first layer like a tinted lip balm, the more you apply and layer on the more stronger colour you can get. Its lovely for a sheer lip tint or if you want a bolder look its definitely buildable.

The are very moisturising and soft on the lips, not sticky though. Only thing is with these moisturising lip tints is that during the day they kind of seep outside your lips, so don't get carried away and use right to the rims of your lips, I use it just as a natural lip tint.

Red Alert
A nice red shade, not too scarlett or orange toned, just the perfect red. If your like me and don't use red lipsticks much, but would wear red in a subtle tint or sheer coverage then this is perfect as it's not too in your face, and you can build up the colour to your preference.

Nuclear
I found this in the tube looking more of a bright coral shade leaning more to the pink side. However when it is swatched and on the lips it looks like a nice warm soft medium pink shade. Reminds me of watermelon when it's swatched.

My Final Thought:
Two lovely shades, these are perfect for the spring when you want to look fresh, glowy and dewy with a sheer natural lip tint to enhance your own lip colour. The packaging is cute too, lovely to put in your handbag and use on the go. Glad I got these, I would not hesitate with Topshop products, as you can see with my other reviews!
