Topshop Bronzer in Sandcastle

I'm glad I bought this, I don't usually use bronzers much and never experimented with them but as spring and summer is on the way, I do love a good sunkissed look!

How it looks:
Topshop have two shades, 'Sandcastle' and 'Mohawk'. Sandcastle was the lighter shade which I got and Mohawk was slightly darker. I prefer matte bronzers as I don't like to look shimmery or glittery, specially with oily skin, I prefer using highlighters for glowy looks. As this bronzer is matte its also perfect for contouring too. This shade is perfect for subtle contouring, as it's just slightly a shade or two darker than my own skin tone, and I use it across my forehead or anywhere else I want to add warmth too. Sometimes if my foundation looks abit too light, I use this too warm up my face. The shade name is spot on as it really does look like sand, it also reminds me of the toffee colour.

I think its a bargain considering how much we spend on MAC bronzers! This shade would suit light-medium-to Medium skintone, and Mohawk would probably suit Medium - to Medium Dark skintones. I would probably purchase the Mohawk if I want a more defined contoured look.

How it feels:
The quality of Topshop makeup is amazing, and this glides on smooth and looks lovely complimenting my complexion. Using this bronzer with a highlighter and my skin looks glowly. I love the packaging too, they are sturdy and strong.

My final thought:
Love their makeup, hope their prices stay low as the quality is amazing!

Jane Iredale Mineral Pressed Foundation in Golden Glow I was really getting into Mineral makeup (and still am!) and I've tried a few different brands so I thought I'd review them as I go along.  I was looking around for mineral foundations that would suit my asian skintone, and I came across Jane Iredale on the internet, and realised there was a salon just next to my workplace that had their products. Uoga Uoga Mineral Makeup | Review and swatch

I came across this brand on Instagram when it came up on my explorer page. Their make-up and packaging looks cute not to mention natural and pure! I have nearly finished my huge jar of Earthnicity Mineral foundation that I use on top of the Inika Liquid Foundation, so I thought I'd try another brand out. As I get shiny and most mineral foundations melt and disappear on me I was glad to see that Uoga Uoga Mineral foundation has Kaolin Clay in it to absorb oils and it also has Amber as one of the ingredients which is found in Lithuania and well known for.  Apparently Amber has regenerating and healing properties in it so its a bonus to have in the foundation.
