My Mehndi/Henna Decor - some bright ideas!

This is not makeup related...but I got married not so long ago and thought I'd post a pic of my henna table decor and rasam (traditions) tray, which has fruits and sweet stuff on it that gets fed to the bride by the guests, and also the henna and Ittar (perfume) thats get put on her ( in which case me!). For the decor, I got the fabric from some indian shop which was a perfect for my bright themed henna party. The colourful ethnic trays are from Pakistan, and the fruit is from Tescos lol!

Bright colours are a must for henna/mehndi parties! So hope this gives you some inspiration this wedding season! Lots of yellow, greens and pinks!

Loreal Colour Riche Matte Lipstick in 640 Erotique | Review & swatch

Love this range of Matte lipsticks from Loreal. I picked up two other shades but this is currently my favourite go to nude shade at the moment. It's the perfect medium deep warm pinkish slightly brown toned shade that looks so flattering on medium/tanned skin. I think its such a nice warm nude it would probably suit all complexions to be honest, it wouldn't wash you out.  My Final Thought The lipsticks are so pigmented and smooth and the lasting power is really good. I love the packaging and the crocodile print texture on it just makes it look so classy. Boots and Superdrugs in the UK have the 3 for 2 offer so often its worth picking up 3 shades, they are priced so reasonably and totally worth the colour pay off and quality. Jane Iredale Mineral Pressed Foundation in Golden Glow I was really getting into Mineral makeup (and still am!) and I've tried a few different brands so I thought I'd review them as I go along.  I was looking around for mineral foundations that would suit my asian skintone, and I came across Jane Iredale on the internet, and realised there was a salon just next to my workplace that had their products. I bought the Jane Iredale Mineral Pressed Powder in the shade 'GOLDEN GLOW'. It comes in quite a heavy sturdy gold coloured metal case, which is really good and this can be refilled with just the pressed powders, so love that idea, great investment.
