Natural Hair Dye by It's Pure Organics in Dark Brown Review All I can say is wish I knew about this dye sooner! My hair history this past year...I've gone through pregnancy hair loss and dryness, not to mention having a no dye period when I was pregnant. This is why I went crazy with the dyes once my LO was born! I ombre'd my hair which meant my ends were bleached twice, coloured and used toners many times to keep ends dark blonde and ashy. Then semi colours on the roots/mid length to keep my hair and a few greys dark and glossy. So all this basically meant my hairs been in a really dry, brittle and frizzy state. It's ruined my natural waves all because of wanted an ombre. Something I'll never do again as its hard maintain when you naturally have dark hair that has a tendency to go orange tinged. I've had regular trims which have helped but after a while hair starts too look rough, lacking lustre and no shine. I think this is partially due to a bad...
Jane Iredale Mineral Pressed Foundation in Golden Glow I was really getting into Mineral makeup (and still am!) and I've tried a few different brands so I thought I'd review them as I go along. I was looking around for mineral foundations that would suit my asian skintone, and I came across Jane Iredale on the internet, and realised there was a salon just next to my workplace that had their products. I bought the Jane Iredale Mineral Pressed Powder in the shade 'GOLDEN GLOW'. It comes in quite a heavy sturdy gold coloured metal case, which is really good and this can be refilled with just the pressed powders, so love that idea, great investment. I have eastern asian nc35-40 skintone and anything that has the word 'golden' in it gets me interested! Hence, this shade was right up my street. I tried using this product in different methods. One way is that I tried using it just as a mineral foundation on it's own. I used it with a lot of layers and real...
Alima Satin Matte Mineral Foundation I was looking for a natural mineral foundation for a while. I tried Bare Minerals in the past which didn't really do anything for my skin, it was drying and my skin just didn't look glowy. I came across Alima which is an american based brand and was wowed by there 61 foundation shades. I did the foundation selector colour guide which was really simple and easy to follow and for my asian NC35 - 40 asian skin tone, it matched me to a 'WARM 4', 'GOLDEN 4', and 'BEIGE 4'. Sample sizes: I ordered the sample sizes which came in small cute pots with a generous amount of foundation that was enough for a few days of wear, it's better then other brands that just give you a small satchet which can be very messy and hardly any foundation to work from. They also gave me four eyeshadows shades to try which was nice of them. Shade: I have yellow (golden) asian undertones to my skin and match to a MAC NC35. I found ...
