Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Multi Benefit Shampoo and Conditioner Review

what a long name for a product...

I came across this in Superdrugs for £9.99 each. There is a hefty 379ml in this so kind of worth the £££££! I have never tried Shea Moisture before thinking its more catered towards afro/Caribbean hair and that it would be too heavy for my hair. This range in particular caters for all hair types as it says on the bottle so thought its a good place to start. I have thick wavy dry hair anyways, so I could probably get away with using there more moisturising products time to time - something I might try in the future.

I love the fact this doesn't have any bad sulphates, SLS, Parabens etc.

Age defy, Colour Protect, Soften, Hydrate, Revive Body...only some of the things it claims to do, basically what the name is 'multi benefit'. Apart from the weird scent that I can't pinpoint what it is, I actually really like this. It does a really good cleanse and doesn't leave my hair feeling dry like most natural shampoos.   The conditioner is perfect it isn't too heavy but leaves hair feeling smooth. I'm hoping it will improve elasticity in my hair over time and bring my waves back to a lovely defined wave, at the moment its a dry frizzy mess because of all the previous dying. I did notice my hair felt very smooth and soft once towel dried, from the roots to the ends my hair felt very smooth, couldn't stop touching it.

My final thought
I love the packaging its cute and practical, I like the pump on the conditioner. Don't even need to use alot of shampoo to lather unlike most natural shampoos I end up finishing them far too quick as I have thick hair. I think this is perfect for ALL hair types as it claims, its not too moisturising yet it keeps hair feeling soft, manageable, and smooth. if your looking for a product to bring life back into flat, dull hair I think this is it. The fact that this set does EVERYTHING in just these two products I think its really worth the money. Conveniently you don't have to buy different shampoos and conditioners that do different things. I think I would repurchase this, its non stripping, gentle on my hair colour, hair feels in better condition, I can't say anything bad about it apart from its weird scent which is beareable. I don't think it smells of Shea nuts, if you happen to try it let me know what you think it smells like! This could possibly be my HG S & C set. I hope Superdrugs doesnt stop selling it.

So I am halfway through the bottle, and can say it is a pretty good Shampoo and Conditioner  however only when I leave my hair wavy/curly. Wavy hair needs the extra moisture to define curls so this is great for that. When I want straight hair I tend not to use this as I find it is kind of heavy on my hair and leaves it feeling flat when I want straight hair.
