Collection CreamPuff Moisturising Lip Cream Review

Collection CreamPuff Moisturising Lip Cream

These caught my eye at Superdrugs and I thought dupe (ahem..copy) of NYX soft matte lips creams! I picked up two colours that I thought would suit me. I don't usually by stuff from 'Collection', it is probably the cheapest makeup brand in drugstores, and nothing really appealed to me from their range although I did try their concealer once and was impressed.

Fairy Cake
This shade is very similar to NYX's 'Antwerp' which I love. Its a nice soft warm coral colour, which can look more vibrant if layered on. Not sure why it's called Fairy Cake though as coral doesn't really relate to cake to me..hmm!

Cotton Candy
A warm medium rose pink shade.

How they look:
When I bought these I think they were £2.99, which is really cheap. I didn't expect great quality with these, although the colour payoff is pretty good, its bold and pigmented, only thing is it feels like there isn't much product in the container so it would finish pretty quick.

Staying power / how it feels:
I put these on just like the NYX soft matte lip creams, I use a non greasy lip balm first then apply the Collection Crème Puffs. They feel nice, lips feel soft, I did have to go over my lips a few times to get the desired look but it when on fine and had a nice finish which is the most important thing.

They don't last aslong as the NYX range, (I can't help but compare these to the NYX as I think their range is just quality!) however, for for the amount your paying these are quite good and the quality is better than I expected.

My Final Thought:
If your on budget and don't mind reapplying then these are a good purchase. They are lovely natural colours and I think would suit most complexions, fair or tanned. They are also buildable shades. I still love the NYX range though which has a variety of colours, but if I want something just to pop on quickly for running errands then I'd use these!
