Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette in 'What you waiting for?' Review

Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette in 'What you waiting for?' Review

Came across this brand the first time in Superdrugs in Birmingham, walked past it few times and then one day decided to buy one of their palettes. They have a variety of different palettes and I think a few are limited addition ones. One thing I noticed is that they say its 'super pigmented' which is really important when buying eyeshadows. I hate faded out dark colours and chalky pastels!

Shades:
I've read a few reviews that say the colours or shades are similar to the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, and that's quite good for me as I only have Naked 1 and 2! :)

I like the practicality of this palette,  it has 6 matte shades from light to dark and 12 shimmery shades also light to dark. The reason I got this palette is that it is very wearable and useable for everyday use. All shades are really nice and unique looking. There isn't a shade in the palette that I'd think eww would not use that and all of the shades compliment each other and work well together.

Price:
£6, its worth it, for this price I could get all palettes and it would probably still cost less then buying an Urban Decay palette!

Quality:
The quality is really good for it's price, all colours are really pigmented, they last upto the end of the working day so about 8 hours, and I still look presentable by the end of the day, not panda eyed or anything!, The eyeshadow stays put wherever you put it on the lid, it doesn't smear or anything. Like most dark eyeshadows its better to shake off the excess before you apply it as with any eyeshadow it can fall onto your cheek. These palettes and the packaging it self is very similar to 'Sleek'. However I wasn't too keen on Sleek's quality as I found the colours would fade after few hours and start to look dull. I think this palette is cheaper than Sleeks and is much better quality. Obviously like most eyeshadows they look better and last much longer if you use primers or concealors round the eye first. My concealor does the job fine and these eyeshadows look great on top.

My Final Thought:
Great palette; a nice ray of soft pinks and muted pinks, golds and smokey shades for going into Winter to create that fresh faced natural eye look. Will definitely be thinking to get another palette, possibly be abit more daring with the next one.

If your looking for a budget eyeshadow palette and want great quality (who doesn't!) this is where to start...
