Akamuti Rose Products Review

Akamuti

Rose Beauty Mask
I like this mask and it's ideal for those with sensitive skin as it seems really gentle - made out of roses, as gentle as it gets! It smells lovely and once made into a paste its a lovely fun pink colour. My skin feels refreshed, hydrated and smooth with this mask. It doesn't strip your skin of oils, or make your skin feel dry. There's so much of the powder in the tub it would last me ages! I've never come across a rose face mask before so this was quite interesting to use.

Organic Rosewater
I use this to set my makeup with. Wanted something natural without the chemicals. It's perfect for setting my face when I use loose powder minerals as it pulls the whole look together and leaves my skin looking more natural and less dry and powdery. Only thing is if your looking for something to take your makeup off with, this didnt' really work for me in that way, I was still left with some makeup residue, so it's not the best makeup remover. (It doesn't claim to be either, but some people like to use rose water as a makeup remover).

Replenishing Rose Face Cream
A little goes along way with this product. It's super hydrating and moisturising, perfect for winter. I haven't tried it in summer, but if I was, I would have to use a really small amount as it feels quite like an oil based face cream and could get greasy  and feel heavy on the skin. If you have dry skin this could be a miracle saviour for your skin. I use this under my liquid foundations and it gives the perfect dewy glow. My skin feels really soft and supple with this product, but I have to make sure I don't get carried away with using too much as you could end up looking a tad greasy! It does take a while to dry and set onto the skin too, so I haven't been using this when I apply mineral powders as the powders might get patchy and cling to some areas where the cream hasn't fully absorbed and dried out into the skin.  I'm a mum now so don't have the patience for letting the cream settle lol.

My Final Thought
Overall really like Akamuti products, their packaging is so cute. I enjoy using the face mask and having a really good moisturiser available in your makeup collection that is free from bad chemicals is always a plus!
