Nvey Eco Moisture Rich Fluid Foundation Review

Nvey Eco Moisture Rich Fluid Foundation Review - shade Cool Natural

As you may or may not know I'm always on the quest for looking for natural/organic makeup. I came across this whilst searching on google and following their instagram page. I thought the price was reasonable for me to try. On Amazon I got the foundation for 20 quid.

One thing I wasn't too sure about was the shade. Their website isn't very helpful, as you cannot see the exact shade colour. It just asks you to to complete the foundation selecter and will roughly tell you what you are; because of this I had to roughly guess my shade. I did try google the shades and a few bloggers swatched 'Cool Natural' which is described as a light to medium yellow toned shade. On some of the bloggers photos this looked quite like a medium yellow toned shade so I thought this would be the most suitable match, instead of the medium to tan 'Warm Honey' shade.

Once it did arrive in the post though, I was hoping it was the pump foundation but Amazon sent me the tube one. This was written on their website anyway but would of preferred the pump one as you can take out as much or as little as you need. The tube isn't too bad, you can still squeeze out as much as you need I suppose!

Shade
Cool Natural - I would say this is more of a light than a medium shade. Its a light pale yellow tone shade. It is alittle too light for me, especially when I use it on its own without moisturiser it looks abit ashy on me. When I used it with a dewy moisturiser it looked alot better and I think it oxidised abit so matched my complexion better.  I can make this shade work by using blusher and bronzer to warm my face abit, but as I'm usually a medium shade across the spectrum this was a tad too light for me. As I do like the coverage though I would try this again in the next shade down which is Warm Honey.

Coverage
Quite pleasently surprised by this product. Some of the reviews for this haven't been too good so I wasn't expecting much but I do like it. I wouldn't say it has the best coverage but it gives a really good light to medium coverage as in my skin tone looks even all over, it does conceal a few minor blemishes ( my skin isn't that bad acne/scar wise).

Texture
One thing I disagree on is their name for the foundation 'Moisture Rich'.  It isn't very moisturising at all, it is quite drying so you need a good base and make sure you have no dry flaky skin and use a good moisturiser. Those with dry skin might not like this, those with oily skin may love this! It goes on smooth and is easily blendable.

My Final Thought
For a natural foundation at a reasonable price I think this stuff is quality! Its good for everyday use. I wouldn't use natural makeup on a night out as I haven't found anything that gives completely flawless coverage. This foundation gives me a luminous fresh look, it's my skin but better. I would repurchase this again the next shade down. I wish their website was abit more user friendly as I think they could lose customers due to the poor foundation swatches. I also found the names of the products abit confusing as 'Warm Honey' supposedly is a yellow toned shade and 'Golden Honey' is a pink toned shade. I always thought Golden was yellow toned so hmm! I might look into that before reordering as they are the two medium shades.

I might try their cream foundations at some point! Over and out!
