My Foundation matches for NC40 Equivelent | Shade Match

Thought I'd do a post with all my Foundation matches for my skin tone for people of similar skintone and shade. I am about an NC40 in MAC Studio Fix could possibly be NC37 in the winter months although I feel that shade leans more neutral and I prefer Golden/Yellow warm tones to my foundations so NC40 would be my closest match. So here's my list as I go along, hopefully its helpful to you...

  • MAC Studio Fix NC40
  • Bourjois Air Matt - Golden Beige (perfect match for me)
  • The Ordinary Serum Foundation - 2.1Y (tad dark but closest shade match)
  • The Ordinary Full Coverage Foundation - 2.1Y (tad dark but closest shade match)
  • Clinique Super Balanced Foundation in - Silk Sahara (just a tad light, Could be Silk Bamboo)
  • MAC Face and Body - C5 
  •  Revlon Colourstay - 310 Warm Golden (right shade, tone is very neural and slightly pink rather than yellow)
  • Loreal True Match - W4 - Could possibly be a darker shade, at the time this matched me and was workable.
  • 100% Pure Healthy Foundation - Peach Bisque
  • Uoga Uoga Mineral Powder Foundation - Amber Sand
  • Alima Satin Matte Foundation - Warm 4 
  • PHB Beauty Liquid Foundation - Peach
  • Earthnicity Mineral Foundation - Natural Buff 
  • PHB Ethical Beauty -BB Cream - Medium or Tan (prefer Medium if you don't want to look too deep in shade).
  • PHB Loose Mineral Foundation - Beige 
  • EX1 Cosmetics - I had F300 which is now 7.0. (not sure if another shade may suit me better, but F300 did at the time)
  • Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless - 220 Natural Beige

Naturtint Permanent Hair Dye in 6N Dark Blonde and 7N Hazelnut Blonde| Review

So over the past year I have tried a few different hair dyes, toners mainly from drugstores like Boots or Superdrugs and I always seem to come back to the Naturtint range. I find the coverage and the shade very much close to whats on the box, my hair NEVER ends up going jet black which it has done from other dye brands. I especially like the 'Natural/Neutral' range in Naturtint, its not too warm or too cool, just a very natural mid brown toned shade and I love it. I usually swap between 5N and 6N depending if i wanted to go abit darker or lighter. Over the summer I decided to mix 6N and 7N to see if I could go abit more lighter so I mixed both shades together. I have asian dark brown practically looking black hair and when I use the shade 5N I get a nice medium to dark brown shade to my hair.  When I want to get a more light medium brown shade thats more prominant and noticable then I usually go for 6N which I'd say is the perfect
