PHB Pure Skin Liquid Foundation in Peach | Review & swatch
Not sure how I came across this brand..I was googling natural organic foundations and this came up. I researched abit into their brand and really likes their ethos. 20% of their profits go towards charity, its cruelty free, vegan and halal. All products have no harsh chemicals or toxic ingredients in them which is so reassuring that whatever you are using is safe if not good for your skin.
Shade - Peach
I decided to order the shade Peach and it is the perfect shade for me, I was really happy that the shade was quite warm and golden as most natural products I come across are very neutral or cater for fairier complexions. This shade is described to suit light to medium with warm undertones. I say its quite pigmented and slightly deep so medium skintones would suit this more.
Consistency
It feel very creamy and thick when you pump it out but once its blended out it feels quite thin and light on the skin. Also feel abit like a mousse textured foundation. Throughout the whole day my skin felt very soft and supple, it feels amazing on my skin like what a really good hydrating moisturiser would feel like. I'd say the texture is similar to Inika's foundation however I feel PHB's foundation blends out so much better and doesn't dry quick so you don't need to be worrying about it drying out.
Coverage
It says its full coverage, however I find that its buildable so depends on how you use it, so to me it from light to a really good medium coverage that looks natural. I think if I did layer it on too much it would look cakey. I actually love the coverage, it looks like you have a no makeup makeup look, or your skin but better look. I actually took this on holiday with me to Dubai, and it looked so amazing and glowy and was perfect for the weather as has a SPF of 30. It gives a lovely semi matte finish, your skin reflects light and it jus gives a luminosity to the skin which makes it look so healthy. I wouldn't say its dewy, I do get a tad shinier at the end of the day but nothing too greasy or oily, it also does oxidise a tad on me.

My Final Thought
As you can see from the ingredients above, most of it is very skin soothing and moisturising, as they have explained on their website its makeup that is like skincare and I totally agree with this. This product does not flare any skin conditions or give you acne, its very smoothing and seamless on the skin. Even when you watch it off you skin feels soft and supple almost like you've just had a treatment on your skin all day which is great. I think for an everyday foundation, or if your the type of person that does like to wear makeup everyday or look alittle bit more polished then natural products/natural makeup is definitely worth incorporating into your lifestyle.

I think this is one of the best natural liquid foundations I have tried, and it is a lot more budget friendly compared to the other brands which are like £25 and over. I found this did clinge to some dry patches on my forehead but nothing major, its winter so I obviously have some dry skin, overall it looked really smooth, covered over my blemishes and pores, evened out my complexion so I'm really impressed by this brand. Generally over time of using natural makeup my skin has improved, I rarely get breakouts, it feels smooth, appears clearer and glowy and most of all not affected by toxic products which I feel was the cause of bad skin! I will be honest and say from time to time I do switch up and use non-natural products but not as much as natural makeup. I'd be interested to try their loose mineral foundation and BB cream next.
My Swatches below are in natural light and in the photos the shade looks like a light yellow but it actually is quite golden too, not sure why the pics aren't picking it up!
